Keiko Ibi accepting Oscar
Matlin Recording is proud to have played a part in the completion of the film "THE PERSONALS". A wonderful film that shows that senior citizens don't stop needing love, just because they are up in years.

Matlin Recording sound designed and mixed the feature length version of THE PERSONALS. Congratulations to KEIKO IBI!!

Welcome to suburbia ground zero... From wife-swapping to
bowling to beauty queens, WONDERLAND takes a humorous and
affectionate look at life in the world's first
scientifically-planned, mass-produced suburb,

LEVITTOWN, NEW YORK, on its 50th anniversary (1997).
Built as an experiment in 1947 by developer William Levitt and
famous for its thousands of identical looking "ticky-tacky"
houses assigned to residents in alphabetical order,
Levittown became the prototype for countless suburban
developments around the world. Through a kaleidoscope of
interviews, events, and archival material,
filmmaker John O'Hagan examines all that is wonderful
and weird about America's original "cookie-cutter" community. As the film reveals,
thriving below Levittown's surface appearance of suburban uniformity is an
unexpected world of eccentric characters and varied lifestyles.
